Fritz’s Adventure in Branson, Missouri is all about family adventure and ADVENTURE is definitely what you will get!!

We have visited Branson before in the summer for Silver Dollar City. This time, we took the entire family to Branson on a windy day in December and were so glad we had planned to go to this large indoor playground and family adventure attraction, Fritz’s Adventure.

We were able to fully enjoy ourselves, despite the weather outside.

At least one member of our family was able to try all of their indoor activities. If you are looking for fun things to do in Branson, Missouri, we highly recommend Fritz’s Adventure!

Here is a run-down of what to expect.

WHAT TO DO AT FRITZ’S ADVENTURE

DOWNTOWN FRITZ

Not your ordinary climbing wall, the Downtown Fritz is a cityscape that makes you feel like a real life Spiderman. The climbing wall is an urban/industrial building where you can scale three brick pathways, with different degrees of difficulty, or a fire escape ladder for beginners.

Our 10 year old, McCoy, and 8 year old, Azure, spent about half of their time on these walls. They climbed the brick walls over and over!

It is a huge sense of accomplishment being able to ring the bell at the top!

AIR-WORTHY AIRPLANE

High in the rafters of Fritz’s Adventure is a suspended airplane. A climb through a tunnel or a maneuver across a suspended bridge leads to the World War II Era plane.

Our two littlest, Ryker (5) and Amity (3), absolutely loved being able to sit in the pilot’s seat and steer the wheel of a real airplane. There are buttons and a throttle to command a flight as the plane “flies” through the air.

FRITZ SKYWALK

Six of us were harnessed up and scaled through the 40 foot ropes course. There are 51 different challenges to master along the course and the higher you climb, the more intense the challenges get!

As we were getting harnessed the second time, our boys all said their goal was to ride the zip line over and over. It was definitely the favorite!

On the highest level, there was a single tight rope to cross. That one definitely had me shaking, but I was so darn proud of myself when I completed it!

Not only did the Skywalk test my fear of heights, but it was also a pretty great workout!

SKY TYKES

For our two littlest that couldn’t go on the Skywalk, they were able to harness up as well and climb along the Sky Tykes!

It took just a few minutes to get used to the ropes and then those two were speeding along bridges and balance beams.

They seemed to be just as proud of themselves as I was when I crossed the tight rope 40 feet above! And they had every right to be proud!

SKY FALL

After completing Sky Fall, my heartbeat was fast for quite a while (thank you FitBit!)

One at a time, a person gets harnessed and then a rope attached to them. In order to get to the top where you jump from a platform, a rope ladder needs to be conquered. This was seriously the most stressful part to me! I think it was because I realized how high up I really was.

When I reached the top of the ladder, an employee harnessed me up for the leap. I then made my way to the edge, and scooted out away from the platform.

After a count of three, the employee pulled a rope and nothing happened. Two seconds later he pulled the correct rope. Oh my goodness! That two second anticipation is what caused the heart rate to rise!

Being at the top is not for everyone. A 10 year old boy made it to the top, stood for a while and then climbed back down.

It sure was a rush though!

LASER MAZE

Pretending we were part of the a scene from Mission Impossible was quite possibly (see what I did there?!) the best attraction for all ages to do together.

We did the laser challenge as a group trying to eliminate as many lasers in a fast time. We also played it numerous times alone, crawling between and over the lasers to get to the checkpoints.

There is a daily leaderboard that was so motivating for our competitive family!

FRITZ ADVENTURE TUNNELS

Below the fun of climbing walls and scaling ropes is an entire city of underground tunnels!

Slide through a tunnel or climb down a manhole into the intricate underground system below Fritz’s Adventure.

Many kids were playing hide and seek or tag in the tunnels. The adults and bigger kids enjoyed the tunnel system as well. There are many places to crawl through, but there are also spots where you can stand.

KIDS PLAY AREA

In the middle of all the adventures are tons of urban playgrounds to explore.

There is a huge water tower, stacked cargo train cars, two rope towers with a bridge connecting them, multiple slides, and even a toddler area with log stumps and smaller tunnels and slides.

There truly is something to do for everyone at Fritz’s Adventure!
