The morning I found Little Foot, I was surprised that Santa had thought to bring me a stuffed dinosaur. Granted I was only 8 or 9, but I really did not want to hurt Santa’s feelings and so I went in my room for a while during the commotion of Christmas morning. I would get very scared at night as a kid. So scared that I would usually end up on the floor of my parent’s bedroom or waking up my sibling just so I wasn’t awake alone. I came to the conclusion then and there that Little Foot would become my snuggle buddy at night and also decided to act like this was THE BEST PRESENT that I could have ever received.
Well, Little Foot still brings me joy 30 years later. He was my snuggle buddy until I left for college! I don’t snuggle with him anymore, but I do see him in my kid’s toys occasionally and he makes me smile and still brings me peace.
